Bio: I come from a literature and writing background, holding a BA and MA in literature from Case Western Reserve University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Notre Dame. In 2005 I began working in ceramics, focusing in functional pottery and figural sculpture. In pursuit of conceptual interests, I continue working to expand into other media, including metal, plastic, and cast stone. I completed my MFA at Florida State University in 2011. I am currently a lecturer in ceramics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
