Architectural
Though I am not a particular fan of medieval European art in general, I have always loved the period’s architectural sculpture–the more replete the better. Such decoration seems to me an effort to make manifest the perceived life of buildings, a kind of architectural animism. The following sculptures are inspired by this animism.
